Slotio provides an online platform that allows businesses to manage appointment scheduling and enables clients to discover and book appointments with those businesses.

Important Notice: Slotio acts solely as a technological intermediary connecting clients and businesses. Slotio is not a party to any agreements, appointments, or service contracts made between users/clients and registered businesses.

2. User Accounts & Responsibilities

  • Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information (such as your name and email address) when creating an account or making a booking.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Acceptable Use: You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes not making fraudulent or spam bookings, attempting to compromise site security, reverse-engineering software components, or abusing the AI chatbot interface.

3. Business-Client Disputes & Disclaimers

  • Service Quality: Slotio does not guarantee, endorse, or take responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or timeliness of services provided by businesses listed on the platform.
  • Cancellations & Missed Appointments: Any disputes regarding missed appointments, late arrivals, payments, or cancellations must be resolved directly between the client and the respective business.

4. AI Chatbot

Slotio includes an AI-powered assistant (powered by Google Gemini API) to help answer general questions.

  • Information provided by the chatbot is generated automatically and is for informational purposes only.
  • Slotio does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any answers generated by the AI feature.

5. Service Availability & Pricing

  • Current Free Access: Slotio is currently provided free of charge.
  • Future Modifications: We reserve the right to introduce paid features, subscription tiers, or usage limits in the future. Any changes to pricing will be communicated in advance.
  • Service Changes: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Slotio at any time without prior notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Slotio and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the service.

The software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Slotio at our sole discretion, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service or used the platform maliciously.

8. Governing Law & EU Compliance

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and, where applicable, the regulations of the European Union — including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR - Regulation (EU) 2016/679), the EU ePrivacy Directive, and applicable EU consumer protection law. Any legal disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Athens, Greece.
